Hi does anyone have issues on the fitment on the AlphaRex TRD pro style healights? it does not sit plush and has a gap which bothers me every time I see it.

Curious if that is how it really fits or just how I installed it.

AlphaRex is not a legitament headlight. It is all foreground light and no distance light, which is not how headlights are supposed to work. There are a few threads on why this brand should be avoided at all cost, not to mention poor build quality. Use the fitment as an excuse to return them and get your money back while you still can. It is a massive downgrade from stock.

I watched a Morimoto vs Alpharex comparison a few years ago and first thing I noticed was the excessive foreground lighting. To find out that it's just rebranded aliexpress lights sold at an extreme mark up suddenly makes a lot of sense.

Edit: I think I found the video

Yep, that video shows why AlphaRex is so bad in the beam comparisons, despite the reviewers not understanding that the massive foreground light actually makes the AlphaRex units way worse. AlphaRex eventually got the AliExpress suppliers under control, so you can't find them on there any more as they have an exclusivity agreement. But the product is direct Chinese low quality import. Also note the Morimoto units in that comparison are the older V1.0, the V2.0 units have substantial output performance improvement, without pathetically dumping it in all foreground light.

I actually like them and no issues - I was able to compare the fitment on a TRD pro and its actually the same. i just hope it will not die on me for the next year or two. LOL
