    Brilliant!

I also updated the OS on my phone and it "seems" to have made a difference. Still testing though. Its weird, I don't have an old phone, its a Galaxy S22 Ultra, you would think there wouldn't be a problem.

Well, i got the same stereo today. got it all installed and mostly working. I have the Anytime backup camera mod. Looks like i cant use it in combo with this radio? Ill mess with it some more first before undoing all that.

Got everything going correct. I'm awaiting a HDMI cable and the parking brake bypass. My stereo seems really finicky about the parking brake, it definitely has a sweet spot.

Got the HDMI cable in today, pulled everything apart to add it in. Then i find out my Pixel 6Pro doesn't support HDMI output from USBc. :notsure:. DoH!

What are you trying to display from your Pixel over HDMI? I connected an Amazon Fire Stick up to mine so that I can connect to wifi on my iPhone and display YouTube, Netflix, of course Amazon Prime, and others. I haven't installed the parking brake bypass yet but I also don't see myself trying to listen/watch video while driving.

I was really only wanting quick access to YouTube. So I did try the Chromecast i have in my kids room. It works perfectly. I may get one of those later.

I don't think you need the mod. I can press the CAM button and it will show my backup camera.

I don't have a forward camera yet, but I think you can press it again and it will display the next camera.

For those of you that have installed this, and also have the OEM front facing and side cameras, can you comment on the functionality and resolution?

Not yet. I was waiting on my Dashcam to come before I pulled it out again.

@Airborne22 Right. If everything is wired "correctly" you don't need the mod, but i installed it last year, so my challenge was figuring out what i needed to add to the Alpine stereo to use the front camera i already had installed. I had to get another adapter for the stereo to go from the Alpine connector the a yellow RCA connector. I also needed a power wore for the camera. I got all that figured out and its working good now. I may upgrade that camera in the future, but for now it'll work for me.

Ordered from TGP and installed about two weeks ago. I have had the same issue as @RTedder2 with the setup menu being finicky with the parking brake. Also have had inconsistencies with wireless CarPlay and the separate Alpine volume knob's Bluetooth connection but wired CarPlay works perfectly.

@RTedder2 Have you gotten the bypass yet?

Did you try just to ground the parking brake wire? I don’t have this radio but I’ve just grounded them before for a bypass.

@rek0104 Hey! I did get the bypass ordered and installed. So much better. The "Setup" button is always available.
@twtaco$ Ive read on the interwebs that the Alpines dont allow to just ground the parking brake wire, its almost a sensor, not a switch in the stereo.

@RTedder2 Awesome, appreciate the feedback! Going to go order a bypass now and install that when I wire in the new amp.
