    Around $26,000 worth of unleaded in the fuel tank.
    Alpine used to be the leader in headunits, and it seems like things may have changed. USB, HD radio, and XM are all costly add-ons requiring external modules or special cables. Even the sound processors are add-ons. Lately the headunits are made in China, and noticeably different than older ones. The volume control has less increments, and the display is hard to see. True, the latest ones are coming with hd radio and bluetooth finally, but they have less preamp outputs than previous models.

    Pioneer might be the next choice...coming soon to a taco near you.
