Yup. It'll be linked with martec's kit. Eventually it will be on 40's, linked front/rear with a marlin crawl box.

Diving into a fj twin stick swap. Anyone care to chime in, do I need to pull the gearset to remove the shift rods? Or is there a trick? I would rather avoid yanking the gears and chain out if possible.

Long time no post. Currently in the process of swapping in a R156f trans, new clutch and fj tcase. Also have a new Core shifter I'll be ordering. My throwout bearing was not happy...

Since I evidently am even worse about posting than working on the truck. Did an R156f swap, new clutch and associated components plus an fj twin stick swap. Went with core short shifter since oem was about a $100 more. Still need to do a finish cut on the trans tunnel, and find someone to stich up a shift boot. All works though.

I got mine from a local wrecking yard in Evansville, Indiana called Liberty auto salvage, aka aesop auto parts. I've gor a friend who hooked me up for $900 on a unit with 63k miles, they usually run around 12-1300. Cheaper than a high mileage r155f and bolts right up.

Not much of an update as work has been crazy. Fj twin stick swap etc is done. Made a mount to hang my farm jack from the bed rail and installed some cross bars that came with the truck. I did get my annual fluid film done the other day, now to drive it. The SAS is on the back burner with work. May be doing an LS swap sooner rather than later if work cooperates.
