Looking at 285/75/16 just not sure which way to go. I like the looks of both. Mostly highway and some offroading at the ranch. Cost is fairly similar not sure about longevity of the Generals. Any help would be appreciated

I'm a big fan of the KO2, (not to be confused with the KO which I will never buy again). So far it is the best all purpose tire I have run for highway and off road use.

I love love love my bfg ko2's. I had nitto terra grapplers on my 13' and those compared to the ko2's doesnt even compare. ko2's are so quiet at highway speeds but they still look and handle awesome

Just put the KO2 on my truck yesterday and surprised at how quiet they are. Not noticeable over the stock tires in terms of noise both on highway and back roads. Huge improvement on snow and slush roads!

if only they made a 265/75/R16 in a load range C of the K02's .... load range E is way overkill for me.

X's 2. I would even drop down to 265/70/16's if they made them in a C. The E's are just too heavy for a daily driver for me.

You can always go up to 17s and get 265/70/17 in lr c.

I like my ko2s. They're heavy alright, but I come from some pretty rough riding vehicles so it doesn't bother me.

I switched to 17s specifically so I could run the C load KO2s.

X2. I've had mine for a couple thousand miles and they've been great on/off road and in the snow. They seem to shed rocks better than the terra grapplers did on the T4R as well as just be a better tire in general. No experience with the General grabbers though.

1/2" difference in sidewall realistically isn't going to affect flex. And you can still rub curbs without rubbing your wheel running 17s on 265/70R17s. There are other options for OEM 17s other than sport wheels. I have the TRD Rock Warrior wheels (personal favorite), and there are also the TRD Pro Sema wheels available in several colors.
