I’m considering it... but the UpTop Bravo is also very tempting and almost the same price with free shipping as well.

I hate how all tires are round and have tread and stuff. Can't even be bothered to make them out of a quality material like Adamantium or Vibranium.

All kidding aside. I asked myself....why did they make this?

Probably more profitable to make your own roof rack than just sell for other manufacturers?

Assuming you already had the equipment and know how.

I'm not against more people making racks - it adds diversity, stimulates competition and innovation... and hopefully the lowering of prices.

It’s extremely easy to make and there’s a large profit margin. Plus someone else already did the R&D, and proved there’s a need/market for the product.

I honestly dont understand why it's more expensive than a prinsu tho. The adjustable wind fairing is just some bolts you loosen. Idk. Dont understand

The idea of the adjustable wind deflector is pretty cool

Guess they have had a lot of demand since as of today they say they're delivering next year only.

Yeah, I suppose you are right, what I meant is that Prinsu is a pretty well known provider and if you can't dramatically offer something different, then are you going to have success?

I give you Victory 4x4, they are not much cheaper, constantly on a long lead time, but not enough to justify scaling production. So are their racks stealing duty cycles from other lines?

Not a fan of UpTop? They seem to be giving Prinsu a run for their money.

Not at that price point they won’t. The whole point of stealing a design is to make it cheaper and undercut the big dogs. Since they got greedy and it looks worse, I would imagine it won’t sell like the Prinsu does.
