    J saw that differently.
If they didn't fit, I would be forced to buy 2 pistols that do fit...

Only pic I have saved at the moment. Ruger RedHawk, in .44Mag. Winchester Saddle gun, also in .44mag(and scope came with it, probably good for putting a dent in an unsuspecting forehead), and my trusty HK USP .45(clearly not a cowboy gun, but was already in the pic).

Colt model 1878 "Frontier" D.A. .45 caliber revolver. Per serial number Colt says approximately 1883 model year. The gun belonged to a sheriff in the northwest that was in my family. The gun has been handed down since he passed away in the 30's. The notes that my grandmother wrote about the sheriff and gun say "he had the reputation of being a tough man and kept the town in good order, throwing many loggers in the local jail when they came to town on Friday nights"

Here's my six shooter! Like the cap guns I had when I was a kid!

Ruger SS TALO New Vaquero 4.5" .357. Have a set of Elk Stag grip panels from Sac Peterson mounted at present. Carry with a Simply Rugged Cattleman's Cross Draw Holster made by Rob Leahy out of Prescott, AZ.
