Recently, Carista stop supporting Wi-Fi adapters, since then, I purchased their new Evo Bluetooth adapter, and it has not been working, I reached out to Carista, they acknowledged the problem last week and sent me a message this morning saying they updated the app to resolve issue, yet still no connectivity, it will not diagnose or do anything for that matter. Also, I’ve noticed that it doesn’t support my 1997 Tacoma, as it did in the past, only my 2017, (3rd gens). Do you guys recommend another application/OBD adapter other than Carista? I’m looking for one that will diagnose all three generations of the Tacoma.

I have their standard adapter and it works fine. I had a Carly OBD adapter before the Carista adapter and it didn’t work well at all.

Use the carista adapter with the OBD Fusion app (iOS) I don't know what the android app is called but its the same thing. Way more useful than anything else
