    Hey all,

I installed a grille guard on my taco and that involved removing the factory tow hooks. I managed to keep the large J hook on as the bolts didn't want to go farther into the hole unless I had the J hook in place, but I had to reverse the direction of it because it wouldn't fit with the grille guard bracket so it's absolutely useless. (The J faces the wrong direction)

So I have no tow hooks at all on the front of my taco currently.

Has anyone mounted hooks or cloth straps in the lower valence (is that what it's called?) under the grille where the license plate mounts? Where else can I mount it?

I was thinking of adding soft tow straps like this, or solid metal hooks like this where the fog lights are currently mounted on the truck below.

    Thanks.
