Ok well i was thinking about doing the led in the running lights mod but i it would be a huge pain in the but for me so i decided that i would come up with my own little way of doing it. not sure if anyone has done this or even if there is a thread but here goes nothing

    TOOLS REQUIRED
    wire cutters
    wire strippers
butt connectors(can be soldered and heat shrinked)
    crimpers
    a drill
    1/4" - 3/4" step drill bit (14$ at autozone)
    20 minutes of your time

    PARTS REQUIRED
x2 amber led lights ( i bought mine from SDHQ) (9$ per)
x2 load resistor kits( also from SDHQ) (11$ per)

BEFORE YOU START DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    STEPS:

FIRST: remove your little panels below the headlight assemblys

SECOND: drill the piece with the step drill bit(should only take 20 seconds per)

THIRD: insert the led light into the hole you created. (if it doesn't fit take the drill and bore out the whole by moving bit in a circular motion to widen)

FOURTH: cut the old connectors off and toss them out or keep them for memories

FIFTH: strip all the wires with wire strippers and attach butt connectors (or solder them) to one end of each wire

ATTENTION: the white wire on mine connected to the WHITE and BLACK wire which is ground i believe. The GREEN and YELLOW wire connected to my black wire Which is the power source.

SIXTH: connect the WHITE wire to WHITE and BLACK and the black wire to green and yellow

SEVENTH: adding the resistors.. you connect one end of the resistors wire into the single entrance side of the splicers and insert the other side onto the wire( may take some force) and i used a pair of pliers to smash the metal piece in and then you snap it closed do this for both sides of the wire.

I forgot to put the led through so had to take appart and redo this one

the resistors have 2 wires, it is not meant to be an inline resistor it has to connect to both wires

    REPEAT FOR OTHER SIDE

once you have done this you can now pop those pieces back in place and you need to mount the resistors.
you need 2 self tapping screws and then screw them into you place of choice i super glued them until i can get to ace hardware for self tappers

finally test them out and make sure they work.

AND HERE IS MY FINAL PRODUCT

good luck and let me know if you need assistance

Awesome, I never thought of mounting there. I keep putting them under my bumper (I'm just rolling with half the factory bumper, ditched the lower valence) and keep ripping them off or breaking them. I'll be mounting my next set up there.

Nicely done! Subscribed as this looks way easier than drilling my corners and JB Welding the OEMs into the corner lights!
