This was mentioned in the New Members area and I'm sure it will be over looked by a lot of people here and it shouldn't. Instead of removing our Tacoma emblems to paint them black a new member mentioned a process of spraying plasti-dip on our emblems w/o having to prep or remove. I just finished this DYI and it came out perfect. Here is the link to how to do it.

Wow, I've been thinking about doing this for a while. Anyone here have any experience with it?

    It looks too easy!

Tinted windows, Clear Bra, WeatherTech Digital mats, Okole Seat Covers, Rear Spring TSB, blacked out badges, 2011 color matched grille, and blower motor replaced. Checking the sofa cushions for more change to continue to mods!
Try searching Plasti-dip.....lots of threads around about this craze!!

I just blacked out all the badges on mine yesterday with Plasti-Dip. Looks really good and it was easy too.

I don't think it would come off that easy or people wouldn't be spraying their rims, nerf/step bars, light bars etc with it. Well what is the loss, i'll do it with 3 coats if it works great. If not I'll go the longer route of painting them.
