Those Tundras looked very nice. Too bad they had frame rot as well.
Tired of painting frames, need new vehicle with out frame rot.

On the side note Still no MPG data on either Titan Xd or Colorado Diesel.

Although Colorado one supposedly gets 29 MPG combined in most efficient version. (I think 2WD) Well not sure how much is that true.
Another thing I just realized there are no CD players anymore in the cars. WTH I am goign to do I like playing CD's

I like to have a physical representation of my music. Plus to me cover art is as important.
Lastly, I hate the fact that I have to strip out all the DRM stuff from MP3 files.

Some automakers are phasing out optical drives completely. I love having a CD player in my car. .WAV files are better quality than .mp3 files.

Sure, and he's certainly entitled to his opinions and preferences. I'm just not a fan of the overly squared off, oversized grill movement we've seen in the truck industry lately. I understand it comes and goes, I'm just waiting it to trend back to more rounded off designs.

Idiotic? Why not make the truck more aerodynamic with the rounded edges? How is that idiotic? What's idiotic is squaring off the front end solely to try to make the truck look more masculine for men battling their insecurities. Everyone has their own preferences for aesthetics, but calling one design idiotic in which form follows function is very short-sighted.

    I ma like "woooahhhh"
Not that its big deal but come on. CD's are not that old :D I remember not long ago I was saving money for one..
I hear ya on wav files. But thats liek AVI. Compression kills quality.

Even with the rebates and wheeling and dealing, the F150 is still more expensive. And when you sell it in 5-7 years, it will have lost thousands more in resale value. The price just isn't close when you add in resale value.

.wav, .avi, .mp3 is only the format of the container file. Nothing to do with resulting of audio quality; it is the CODEC which matter.

I don't sell in 5-7 years. I keep them for 10-15. No vehicle is worth much when I am done with it. Vehicles are tools...you buy them perform jobs. Do believe I have out grown the Tacoma. I justified Toyota pickups being a light duty truck that did "ok", because they got much better mileage than the fullsize. I came from a F250 that you were lucky to get 8-10 mpg's...25 years ago my '85 4Runner was getting 20+...that is double over the F250....now the half tons preform better than that '76 F250...and get the same mileage as the little Toyotas...sure mpg isn't an end-all, but comparing the Tacoma side by side to the current 1/2 tons...why would you buy a Tacoma? Now if the Tacoma got 30 mpg...it might be a different story. Hey, won't that Colorado diesel get over 30 mpg? :)

I prefer to keep my vehicles garaged when at home, and the Tacoma is much easier to fit in there than a full-size. There are other factors as well, but that is the single biggest for me.

Had a Jetta...worse vehicle we ever owned. once it hit 60K miles it was all down hill...and I am not the only one that had bad experiences with late model VW's.

VW is building a truck!? nooooo thanks! :)

Playing the game of cheaply designing a vehcile with shit parts is a money maker because it's cheap to design, the parts cost less, and you get the profits from repairing the shit parts (cough..vw, cough...gm). Eventuall "smart" people catch on to this scheme and just buy a quality product like Honda or Toyota. Of course you'll always have your die hards who will disagree, but i've met very few people who like there vw's after 75k miles. I owned an Audi and after 60k it needed basically a whole new suspension..tie rods, tie rid ends, it went through 2 sets of wheel bearings. It's freaking Junk. I've owned a number of honda cars and toyota trucks and it's extremely rare to have to do anything except change the oil and gas her up.
