Heyfolks..The Batt light comes on dash soon as truck is started and doesnt go away. Owners manual says..check charging system. The battery is just a year old. It starts fine without any hesitation. A/C doesnt work too. Mine is a V6 SR5 (Not TRD) i guess it has standard alternator. I recently towed my travel trailer (3800 lbs) with 7 pin harness. Question is would the load hav killed the alternator..reason i ask is i smelt hot coolant kind of smell during the return leg.
Is the arrow pointing the alternator in the picture..?? thnks :)
