How difficult is it to replace the alternator. I seen the thread here it looks doable but can there be alignment issues with the belt afterwards? Or is it just bolt on?

No alignment issues, it's a bolt on.

It's tight, just be patient, good quality sockets matter as the top alternator bolt can seize and round.

Did mine with my brother with normal hand tools. Took about 2 hours. Most of the time was trying to get it out once everything was unbolted and unplugged. Next hardest was removing it again because the threaded plug on the bottom bolt was pressed in too far and it would set right. Had to pull it and used a brass bar to tap it flush on the inner side. Once that was done it all went in super easy.

There is a couple YouTube videos to walk you through the entire process.

Easy. I removed the battery and took it out the top. Had to turn it and move some of the wire harness but it came out fine. I then installed a re-manufactured 130 amp Denso.

    Nothing to it!
