Alternator upgrade 2005-2015

After searching to uograde my alternator on the cheap with not much online help I thought I would share what I manage to do on my ute. Dxa400 130amp just need to cut off the 3rd mount

 

I don't get what your going for? isn't 130 amp the same as the current one?

 

if he doesnt have a tow package, I think its a 60 amp..

They make more capacity than 130 amp too..

90Amp is the standard, bigger than 130A its double the price.

 

I swapped an alternator from the tow packaged tacomas to get a few extra amps.

 

Why the need to upgrade, how much juice are you drawing on a continual basis?
