I wish Altitude meter came on my truck, like how they have temp/Mpg gauges standard. I would find that really usefull. Do any car/truck come with altitude meter standard or is that just on like Tom/Tom ??

didn't the older 4 runners (maybe 1986) come with a Altitude meter and a tip meter? Maybe you can find/buy one of those and find a place to mount it.

buy a casio pathfinder watch with alt feature. pretty damn accurate, and if you ever climb out of the truck, you still now how much you climbed.

My '87 4Runner had an altimeter- as well as equally useless tilt and yaw gauges. Problem with altimeters is calibrating them for everywhere you go, and then figuring any adjustments for changes in weather (correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they work on barometric pressure...?).

There is a Scangauge 2 code for an altitude gauge. It is only accurate to within 200 ft.

It would be nice if the truck came with an altimeter.
The old 4Runners came with a Altimeter/Barameter,tilt meter & slope meter.
