So I am debating selling my recently acquired ALUCAB canopy with Roof racks. It has nothing to do with not liking it, quite the contrary, I am strongly debating taking my build in a completely different direction then a RTT/Canopy and going back to camping on the ground and carrying less crap with me. I

Curious if anyone would be interested in this? The canopy will be located in Alberta, sadly in Grande Prairie, but I am regularly through Edmonton and Calgary every month give or take. I’d even be willing to deliver within reason.

I’d be looking for about $3700.00(CDN) for it(that is about what I paid), and it comes with the ALUCab load bars/roof rack and is for a DCLB Tacoma. It is probably the toughest canopy on the market, although it look a little utilitarian, although I quite like that look.

Pictures of the canopy on my truck below.

Yup about a 6-700 dollar savings for people in the US. Or about 1000 dollar savings for cdns.

40 hours from Quebec? I did Moncton, NB to Grande Prairie, AB very quickly. Left on Saturday am, and arrived in GP on Monday afternoon. That was about 40 hours of driving and i stopped each night around 7pm and started about 6pm/. Day one I pushed it a little harder to get into eastern Ontario.

from Quebec, I could do it in two days. Not idea, but easily doable.

No it took me 40 hrs from the Miramichi area in NB. And yes google maps is notoriously inaccurate on long distances drives.

I’ve done the drive across the country close to 10 times. From fredericton NB to Victoria, BC non-stop is 52 hours we did it with three people and rotating drivers.

I’m not a fan of doing it. But it can be done.

This canopy is sick! I saw one in town today and held up traffic to take a look. I am also from Alberta. Are you still considering selling?

Its back up for sale, I have placed a down payment on a camper and looking to sell the ALUCAB canopy towards the end of August/start of Sept. Willing to drive it pretty much in Alberta/BC within reason. I am regularly in the Vancouver area and Calgary areas with the truck and can easily take it off and switch it over to another truck.

Not sure on the price at the moment, but thinking about 3000-3500 CDN for it. Open to reasonable offers.

Can you upload some pics of the method used to hold it down to the bed and the gaskets the rear door makes with the tailgate?
