Has anyone here had to replace the cores on their Alu-Cab canopies at all?
My two rear ones completely seized up. I took the whole lock and latch off, soaked them in a saltgone solution, re-lubed them, re-graphited them, and they will not break free. the pins are absolutely toast.
I ordered 2 new cores from OK4WD, (And yes i also ordered lock covers after i learned my lesson) but i don't see any instructions on removal anywhere online. It appears you need to pop a retainer clip from the back, and i'm hoping that is the only thing you need to do.
When I owned some Thule equipment, you needed to place a flat blade key in the core to set all the pins up to pull it out. Hoping that isn't the case with these, because I can't even get a key in one of them.

    Thanks!

To replace, open each lock. On the back side of the lock core there is a small plastic C-clip that can be removed using a narrow flat head screwdriver. Once the clip is removed, the core can be easily replaced and re-secured using the same clip.

I've attached a few photos showing the process.
