Has anyone here put an Alucab canopy from a 2nd Gen Tacoma on a 3rd Gen with any success?

I assume the issue is with the tailgate being different but maybe it's possible.

Anyone know?

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.

Anything is possible with enough time, money & fabrication skill.
Highly doubtful it would be a good fit.

Yep, did some more research and it looks like I'll have to go with a new canopy for a 3rd Gen so there may be an 11 month old Alu Cab canopy for sale in Boise if I buy a newer truck.

If anyone has a 3rd Gen AluCab canopy they are interested in trading for an 11 month old AluCab canopy, let me know. RCI would be an option too.
