Thinking hard about an aluminum front bumper. Daily driver rig with some overland camping on weekends. Nothing to hardcore, so I think the lighter weight aluminum will be beneficial

I have a Pelfreybilt Aluminum bumper coated in Line-X. I always wanted aluminum. I've pulled on it twice without issue although I'd like to reinforce the brackets.

Did you do the line x yourself? That could definitely save some cash, wondering what the prep would be for the aluminum

What saved me cash was buying it used! LOL. The original owner got it from Pelfreybilt. I hunted it down for 2 years and finally found a front and rear just 5 hours away! The Line-X is really nice. The prep is similar to steel just a different adhesion promotor. If you want aluminum I say def hunt around and go for it!
