    Over GVWR and I keep adding more metal
    it works just fine, sometime i have to push the corner in on the side the Trasharoo is hanging on, usually the right side. A little elbow persuasion and a twist of the handle and voila.

    HOWEVER, after it gets filled up, you have to be careful when dropping the tailgate. I've got some dents in the tailgate from where the bag and trash (usually beer cans) get sandwiched... mostly user laziness. I should just get a swing out :)

    Thank you. I have several things to work out in regards to tuning this into what I'm calling the "Hasty Ambush". If all goes well I will have the sleeping platform done by late July for a real test of the utility for this type of camp/exploration set up.

    I've got one of the Trasheroos also but I've been scared to use it for fear of scratching up my tailgate. I went by the local 3M dealer/installer and they wanted close to $300 to put the protective film on just the tailgate. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any large enough sheets of similar film for sale to do it myself. There are plenty of films out there with some gay looking graphics on them but just plain clear film seems to be hard to come by.

    no scratches yet, even with some really dusty, dirty, and bumpy roads, and a full Trasharoo. $300 is a lot for a wrap or film!

    Yeah when they told me that I said no, I just want the tailgate done. They said that was just the tailgate and I just laughed, said no and walked out. I can't even find the thicker film on ebay though. I guess 3M keeps a tight rein on it.

    Each track is attached to the 1x1 tubes that are running the length of the shell via 15 or 16 rivets.
