    Thanks!

I wish it was my personal shop hahaha, it's where I work. Definitely nice to have access to it tho, especially for doing oil changes and what not on the truck during the winter.

Just got mine!! "Century" Build quality not amazing, feels like it was slapped together a bit too quick.

Mostly getting these in here for anyone who is shopping. I went with a 23" ARE diamond plate DCU. I was unable to find a used one for a short bed, the quality is alright, but honestly for the cost I would have expected a smidge better. Either way I think it looks cool and now I can sleep in my truck (alone and diagonally)

I had thought it was ~160lbs, but before having my AAL put in I actually looked at the paperwork, it was just over 200lbs, so it's a chunky boi. But the diamond plate is thicker than ARE's standard DCU aluminum.

anyone on here pair an alum cap w/ a roofnest falcon or gfc platform tent? tempting w/ the 6-7" profile on them, and opens up a lot of possibilities with the cap. 135-150 lb weight

Local ARE guy talked me out of the diamond plate. It increased the price over 1k. Looks blingy tho

Yeah the pricing ended up working out for me, still pricey. I really like the look though and hopefully I keep it for a while.

Is there a manufacturer that has an aluminum shell that better matches the contour of the cab? Most I have seen do not follow the contour of the cab like the fiberglass shells and stick out around the cab edges or above the roof line. Any photos? Looking specific for a 2nd gen DCSB.

Got this the other day, sold my bestop as it became a hassle to pretend folding it down was faster than taking a topper off...

Nice looking cap! Did you pick it up new? I looked on the used market for an aluminum one with windoors like that for a while without any luck. Every pest control company that runs Tacoma’s in the area has those caps on em, but they never come up for sale. Wonder if they scrap them when they upgrade the fleet

Hey thanks! This thing is actually about 10 years old, got it off facebook marketplace, threw some fresh paint on in some spots. Cost me $160. It was from a 2nd gen, also said it would fit a ranger or something similarly small
