They are fox 12" 2.0 smooth body shocks. And yeah, I hope the allpro leaf pack will keep up with these. Joe had a similar setup on his tacoma but with the added shackle flip kit, which I don't have yet.

I might definately need some help. They were originally on a vw baja bug, with rear weight around 1300 lbs. They have "40/30" stamped on the bottom which I believe is what they were set at from the factory. From what I have read they should be around 70/30 to 80/40 ish. But I guess we will see how they ride once I get them mounted.

40 will be way too light for compression on a truck. I attached the ultra top secret fox 2.0 decoder ring so you can actually know what their numbers equate to in terms of shims.

Absolutely keep the 30 for rebound. Leaf spring bushings have natural dampening and you don't need any more than a really light stack of .008 shims. Hell I run 8's in the rear of my truck with the bypass tube all the way open to make it as light as I can.

In terms of compression, given that you've got 2.0's and some sexy bump stops to go with it, here's my suggestion. 70 would be a good place to start but .012's are stiff for a street ride. Honestly a little more than I'd normally recommend, but that would be solid for a full size spare, bedrack with bunch-o-shit, but there's no way I would run just the 70. Run a 70f. The f stands for flutter stack. Basically you'll run 1 more shim, a .8" .008 shim in between the two largest shims (the 1.6" and 1.425"). This will help with low speed dampening not feeling so harsh as it allows the low speed shim to flex easier and allow more oil to pass through and a nice street and offroad ride. Combine that with those bumps with a starting PSI of around 100. If you still buck hard, lower them to 75 psi, if it feels a like you're bottoming out to hard/fast then try 150.
