Are there any other fabricators out there that make an aluminum front bumper besides CBI and Demello?
I've been searching other companies, but I can't find any. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are looking to order soon, we have one aluminum 2016-2019 bumper left from the previous batch in stock.

The aluminums look like this on the inside 1in thick uprights form the foundation for the shackles and mounting point.

Those are some ugly welds. Was that just a mock up?

Billy at brute force fab will make one. However if weight is what you are trying to reduce just ask for a lightweight steel one like i did. Similar weight to aluminum, lower price vs aluminum, great protection

Billy made me a custom steel front bumper. Its light weight (thinner plate where you can get away with it) and I also liked the 2005-2011 fog lights vs my 2014 factory size which he was able to accommodate

I love the looks of the demello bumper. I'll probably order one eventually. However, how proven are the aluminum bumpers? It has a winch mount but if the bumper is holding a winch that's pulling 7,000 pounds, will aluminum hold up or will it get torn at the winch/bumper mount?

Haaa, my 4955 code tells me otherwise. Those welds look like someone who welds steel jumped to aluminum. Assume they are mig welds that look like either his voltage was too low or wire speed was too low. There are a couple that look decent, but overall you wouldn't make it out of A school with work like that. If I were just mocking something up and really didn't care, it would be one thing, but I probably wouldn't show customers that. Heaven help you if you think that is quality work.

They're using 5000 series wire. It'll soot up like that especially if you don't have the best gas coverage, like if you're just tacking something. The soot is outside of the HAZ so no effect on weld strength. 5356 is usually the strongest filler for most aluminum.

No idea what you mean by the voltage or wire speed or steel welder comment. Unless you can judge the shape of those tack welds from that picture.

Welds? Those are tacks on one of the first bumpers. We have some of the highest quality welds out there. Our guys are pretty proud of what leaves here. :)
