Hoping Mobtown can answer this...will the transmission skid and transfer case skid work with the TRD Pro skid? I was under the impression they would work but I saw this on the website and now a bit confused. Would like to use Mobtown skids but want to make sure the transmission and transfer case will work with the TRD Pro skid.

Well dang it. I have their sliders and wanted to go with more of their stuff.
So is RCI the only dudes that make trans/tcase skids that work with the TRD plate?

Check out the CBI "rear skid" it covers the typical area of a mid skid and a rear skid and is 100% compatible with the Pro skid... marries right up to it.

Checked out the CBI. I like the look of it better than RCI and they TRD grey powder coat. But I like the idea of RCI because they are from right outside of where I grew up in CO.

BTW, since this thread is getting traction again, I also like how BAMF is now offering roadkill worthy skid plates... what happened to "LOL nope"?

Odd, I got an email from CBI stating that the rear skid does not fit with the TRD Pro skid....anyone actually have the CBI and TRD skid? Are they compatible??

I run a Richochet Offroad aluminum tranny skid, don't see why it wouldnt work with the Pro skid.

I have a TRD Pro IFS skid and a CBI rear skid... they work perfectly together.

CBI has multiple versions of the rear skid. Make sure you pick the one that marries up to the Pro skid.

See how the front of the CBI rear skid is contoured to match the rear of the Pro IFS skid?

Thank you for posting! It was just the regular old 3rd Gen 2016-2021 Rear Skid, correct?

I believe CBI has an older version of skids (not sure they're made anymore) and a new version that fits 3rd Gens. This is the newer one shown in Bertw192's post above. The old one looks nothing like the new one, if I remember correctly. This is the new one https://cbioffroadfab.com/product/3rd-gen-tacoma-rear-skid-plate/
