Aluminum Radiator

I looked for an aluminum one for my 03 v6 manual 4x4 and I did come across a company that would build me one but it was really expensive. If anyone knows of one that fits and is a decent price please let me know!

 

sort of lazy at the moment, but I think ebay has them now. i was thinking of picking one up by the end of the year to get ready for next years trips.

Not all aluminum. But a good replacement for stock nonetheless

 

Any news on finding a all aluminum radiator? Everyone I can find is our of stock, which seems to point to only once place making them?

 

Could always get one custom made if you really need one. But super pricey. There's a few companies online. My brother had one made for his 93 dodge and that sucker was $600+. One like ours might be like half that though, as it's Probly half the radiator that he has, ha. Idk.

 

Yea, I have looked at custom radiators, but the price kills it.

 

Has anyone heard of using a mid-90''s Supra aluminum radiator because when I Google search 01 Tacoma aluminum radiator it always goes straight to that.

 

Champion makes a radiator for the 3rd gen 4runners. I bought one for my truck (v8 swap) and it bolts right up. The only problem I see it's that on my 99 the radiator cap hits the hood support. If it was moved 3"s to the driver side it would clear....

Where exactly does it hit? Are you talking about the metal pole support that could be replaced by hood struts?

 

Right beside the hood latch striker. Maybe you could put a dent in it and be ok? I'll try to get a picture this afternoon.
