Nice. How did you make it work on your truck? Clearance out the hood?

I need the inlet and outlet to switch sides. Since I'll have them moved, I'll get the fill neck moved too.

I don't know if you can see it, but just to the right you can see the marks from the cap hitting.

Thanks man - I got a mishimoto stock replacement for $100 free shipping so I ended up going with that, but in the future this could be an option since I'm going to get a fiberglass hood and that should have less material there. Did you get your CEL codes squared away?

I'm running a Full Aluminum Radiator , from Radiator express $300. Meant for the 2.4 but works fine, did have to mod the fan shroud and lower rad hose. Did it fit, no I had to modify the mounts but all in all I love it and don't have to worry about breaking another plastic one.

Does anyone know if anything is different between an 01 tacoma 3.4l and 01 4runner 3.4l engine bay?

Just to follow up, I see that Champion is now making a radiator specifically for 95-04 Tacoma's. The item number is CC1778

There is at least 1 in eBay for just over 200$.

Keeping an eye on this, seen Champion had a 4runner all aluminum rad, but the measurements (mostly length) were longer.

I'm running the 4runner radiator in my Tacoma. Fits good. Bolts right up, but the fill neck puts the cap right under the hood brace and it rubs. I had the fill neck moved, but understand that's not an option most want to deal with. However, my situation is a little different though...

And for you guys wondering how they hold up. I hit a deer last weekend. The deer caught the bottom tank and bent the radiator. No leaks. I drove it home another 30 minutes. I'll be replacing it soon, but I'm sure a plastic tank would have cracked.

No other damage to my truck. Thankfully... The deer..... dead AF.

    Any "Bambi Burgers" made?

I too tried to use the Koyo radiator. Turns out that Koyo only has one radiator for the 2002 Tacos, and Toyota used 3 different styles. So the Koyo was sent back, thanks a lot Toyota! :/

I thought about it, but dude was busted up and spread out pretty good. I figured it would better to leave him.

    Super down-low feeler...

I Work for a custom intercooler and radiator manufacturer in Texas and noticed no one really makes all aluminum rads for our tacos...

If I get enough intrested I can spring it to the boss about doing some R&D, expanding our product line and potentially offering a TW discount maby...

Let me know if there is any interest.

I would be interested in two for our trucks with the inlet and outlet swapped.....
