Thank you sir, they're coming out exactly as I expected. It may not look like it, but there's 26 pieces to these that have to fit perfect. Hope to have this completed, painted, wired and on the truck Wed or Thurs.

There is no better option at this point in time. Color-wise on the DC, white/black is ground, green should be cargo lamp and purple brake but probe to confirm.

Lots and lots of chatter and evaluation. The hangup is that TE who makes the female connector only makes a wire-to-board male, not a wire-to-wire male. So for plug and play we either need to build a board to use their connector, have a mating connector made, or inject the terminals directly with heat shrink to avoid them touching each other and somehow wrap with tape or goop to secure the whole thing which would no longer really be plug and play, it'd be connect once and pray.

Given the headache and costs (dumb wire-to-board with 4 screw terminals is $9 for a run of 100) it would appear that the best option is to cut the connector. For those truly interested you could use a 3 pin JST male and female as quick disconnect, but doubling up on the cyclone (they are 18 gauge?) is hard with JST pins. Probably better to go 090II connectors (same as the head unit uses) or a different TE 3 pin, there might even be one which uses the same terminals so you could de-pin and re-pin but since the whole idea is you do this once and you're done, quick disconnect seems like a total waste of time, just butt connector or solder and heat shrink it and forget about it.

Yes, you can use the cyclone wiring and the oem plug to wire these up, it's pretty easy. That'll be what I'll have to start, a bare assembly and you put in your cyclones, wires. Aceess Cab (3 light openings) will be first (next week) and Double Cab (4 light openings) will be a couple weeks, there's a bit more involved with DC.

Dave @daveeasa, @kmorgan3, @Puppypunter and @caribe makaira are working on a complete harness and I'll wire these with Cyclones and it'll be plug and play. Priced accordingly since lights are $30 each. That'll be a few weeks and you can order it complete with lights ready to go. A huge thank you to these four guys for all of their genius.

Tonight I just finished the plates, which I had to mill down, the band saw nor plasma cutter was forming that well. The mill worked great, I primered tonight and will put this on the truck for pics tomorrow.

Let me get everyone that showed interest and committed in this thread and I'll put everything in the first post tomorrow, along with you.

Really want to get this on my truck tomorrow with pics so everyone can see exactly what it looks like. It's a nice functional aluminum assembly with the kc cyclones.

Got it painted at least one coat (no clear coat), wired and installed. Everything looks great and works just as I expected.

Here's pics, I'll have to get some at night and still wiring the cargo light to the overhead switch. The paint is not perfect since I rushed it this morning to get it up. The two screws holding it to the cab will be black 1/4" hex with rubber washers, you'll use an open wrench on the side, I quickly painted a couple black that I had on hand.

These are difficult to wire initially, so I have to figure out a couple things with wiring them up if I'm selling these bare assembly at first.

This sits about 1/2" under the roof line and is about 1.8" out from the back of the cab.

I've figured it out, the three holes out the back for wiring have to be bigger and right under the top of the gasket. It'll be easy to wire and all bullets connectors will be able to be pulled out so you can change out a Cyclone light if needed without taking off the assembly. This is important since it's a double sided adhesive gasket like the oem and if the assembly comes off you need to a new gasket which I'm trying to avoid.

Yeah, I'll at least have it for the brake lights. I'm trying to get to the cargo wired today, I know it's 500 lumens, so it'll be a lot of much needed light for the bed.
