always carry sanitizer

I work at a rest stop in cali....... the soap we use is good for removing dirt. Its not atibacterial tho......so, someone gets shut on their hands, has a cold, wipes snot with hands, then hits the stall handle to get out, hits soap dispenser to wash hands......the germs just transferred to the soap dispenser (must press lever). They use no touch sink tho and then hit button for hand dryer (hopefully with elbow).

 

Then u come along..... hit handle to stall door, flip the lock......apply ass gaskets, do ur business.... finish......go to soap dispenser (maybe even use elbow to hit lever for soap), wash ur hands with the soap..... expect the world to be merry........ ur not doing shit to get the bacteria off ur hands really..... anyone whis taken nursing classes or bio and done hand wash experiments knows this. U just took someone else germs home, to ur steering wheel, to ur children.

 

Even if u use urinal and its no touch....... soon as u hut the lever to the soap dispenser, u just fucked up.

 

I see many times people come out of shitter and don't wash hands. Then they touch door handle to leave and many restroom doors open toward inside which is stupid as !@#$. Then I wait for someone to come in so I can grab door with foot and leave.

they have antibacterial options and antimicrobial......but u aint getting it here.

 

Agreed. However, I believe I read that friction while washing your hands is beneficial to killing bacteria?? And the stall handle is nastier than the toilet seat!


Don't get me wrong, I'm the guy dunking in sanitizer elbows deep!!


Also, you know how many sickos I see walking out restrooms without washing their hands!?!

Thanks for the PSA. I always make sure to have hand sanitizer in my truck for me and my passengers. Sometimes, if I know my passenger has a habit of not washing his hands, I make him wash his hands before riding with me gotta stay healthy!

 

I used to worry about germs, maybe a little too much. When I was a Paramedic, I'd wash my hands after every call because it was policy, not because I was freaking out about what I had just handled, or been exposed to. Now, I still don't worry, even a little bit. I'm in and out of hospitals and doctor's offices all day, most days. Those are some of the nastiest places on earth. Maybe I've built up an immunity to some things. The vet and I pulled a calf the other day, and didn't even use gloves!! 6 FOOT, 200 POUNDS OF MAN gOD DAMMIT!!!!

Bacteria isn't necessarily bad. "Anti-bacterial" soap is a marketing gimmick. If you wash your hands properly with normal soap and water you'll get the job done.

On top of that, hand-sanitizer is a joke. "kills 99.9% of germs"....in a petri dish, not in real life.
Next time you shit, pick up a turd and smush it through your fingers. Use Purell, then lick your fingers. Killed "99.9%" of the germs right? Should be good to go.

 

I spent 8yrs in a max security forensics mental hospital.... was rarely sick despite ppl making shit sandwiches and the regular poocaso painting the bathrooms..... spent 3yrs not working tho....ptsd and depression kept me inside along with severe neck pain after almost being paralyzed at work....... I prolly lost all resistance due to being away from ppl for so long...... been sick twice in 2 months and feel it coming back..... despite washing hands ALOT....no wonder, I may as well have just wiped my hands on the ground.

 

I hear certain kinds are good for vaginas......but im not in that catagory.

 

Actually I volunteered with an environmental group and using standard soap has the same antibacterial ability as sanitizer. But sanitizer causes the germs to evolve "natural selection" and those that are immune to the properties will not die and create offspring with the same genetic properties as they are a-sexual organisms. This creates superbugs and are dangerous in a very real way. This can reduce or eliminate effectiveness of antibiotics and so on. Do a quick look up of "superbugs". This is very real. If you don't trust me, Google it

 

Please don't tell me you wash you mouth out with antibacterial soap.
