    2022 Green TRD Off Road - Manual
    Greetings from the Tampa, Florida area. Purchased a 2022 TRD Off Road with MT several weeks ago. We looked for barely used, low mileage, Tacoma trucks, but found out quickly that most were actually priced higher than just buying new. I know, I could not believe it either! I am retired, however, my wife still works in the Medical field. We both love camping and outdoor activities in the Blue Ridge & Smoky Mountain areas. We have a small 14 ft. camping trailer that was previously towed by an older Colorado. Total trailer dry weight + camping gear weighs approximately 2500 lbs. We use this as a base camp with additional tenting. After MUCH research, we purchased the Off-Road Tacoma 4x4 to provide better access to the wilderness areas & hiking trails we enjoy exploring. We are hoping there will be NO problems pulling this light-weight camper thru the hills, mountains, and valleys that we encounter. Sadly, I have read a lot of mixed reviews & comments regarding the towing abilities regarding Tacoma trucks by owners in other forums. I am here to learn more.
