Am I a fan boy?

My wife gave me this idea of a tailgate bench. She saw a pic of one on eBay.
There is a junkyard down the road from me and the owner is my friend. He found me
a mid 80's Chevrolet and an early 90's Toyota tailgate for $20 total.
Got the Taco one done the Chevy one will be made out of metal tubing because
it is much heavier and may be prone to tipping if I use light pine 2 by 4's.





She says my bench should be red but for $10 who gives a rip what color it is?

Does this make me a fan boy?

So I kept my word to my wife and built her a Chevy tailgate bench. It is about 70% done.





I have yet to prep and paint the metal frame then shoot some clear coat on the barn board seating area.
Then she'll prolly sell the damn thing on me,,,,

A real fan boy would be making bench sofas with the Toyota bench seats. I actually like the look of it ...... for a garage.

 

How comfortable would that be?
