Am I alone in liking the OR/Sport grille in its stock form?

I haven't been a member on here for very long, in fact not long at all. However from my short time it seems like one of the first things owners do is plastidip the grille or swap it out for a Pro one. Personally I think the chrome cheese grater look is pretty cool. Granted I was born in Wisconsin....and really like cheese. $400 can buy you a lot of cheese.

Anyone else cool with the stock grille?

This ^ it looks good on the lighter colors. The dark/bright colors not so much. I like mine on my SSM

I don't dislike it enough to spend money to upgrade it. Now when a rock or bird goes flying through and cracks my grille, I'll upgrade it.

I swapped mine out with 29 miles on the Odometer, I hated the Stock Grille.

That makes sense. Maybe that's what it is for me since my truck is white.

I was on the fence but didn't want to spend $400 to upgrade to the pro grill until somebody on here said it looked like an electric shaver foil.

That pushed me over the edge, can't unsee it, Pro Grill will be here Monday.

I originally told my wife I wasn't driving the truck off the lot with that grill on it, in January all the dealers in the PNW were back ordered.

Dealt with it for 3 long months and could do not any longer.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
I'm not a huge fan of it, but I would rather spend the $400 on things that are functional. Someday I might, and by might I mean probably never, paint it black (with the Rolling Stones playing in the background).

You are in the minority that's for sure. I hate anything chrome, it's not the style, it's the chrome I can't stand. Make a pro grill in chrome and it'll look like shit, IMO.

Hell, the chrome accents on the interior piss me off.

Has anyone else noticed the Ford Cargo vans have the Tacoma grill? And the pickups have the tailgate? Oh, and I love grilled cheese.

    Zero fucks given.

I honestly would spend the money on performance upgrades.

I really like the stock/sleeper look though.

Maybe it is just a lighter color thing I don't mind the look of mine at all. Silver sky metallic. Would rather change the tail light the pro tail lights are way better than the sport.

The pro grille is pretty fugly too, its just better to most because its not chrome and a pro grille, not to mention I always thought it was lame people running pro grilles on non pro trucks, but to each their own. :boink::crapstorm:

Normally I agree, for me it's the "heritage " nostagia that I like. On the second gen they actually called it the heritage grill.
