I bought a 2019 cavalry blue Tacoma this year. I ordered some touch-up paint that was much darker than my truck's shade, but I had ordered cavalry blue paint. I have seen around town that there are other cavalry blue tacomas that look much darker than mine. Are there actually two shades?

Cavalry Blue looks like 2 completely different colors whether in the shade or direct sun. It looks muted in the shade and almost like Voodoo blue in direct sun.

It’s not uncommon for touch up paints to be slightly off, especially if it’s non-OEM.

Even if it’s OEM, it may be from a different supplier (bulk vs aftermarket) and slightly different.

I’m sorry bro, no it’s not, not even close. Cav is awesome in its own rite but looks nothing like voodoo.

YES! There are two different cavalry blue!! The Tacoma and 4Runner got a much MUCH more grey even lavender version of the original tundra cavalry blue with is much brighter sky blue colour. And no it’s nothing like the brighter and darker voodoo blue. Toyota didn’t give them different codes though quite stupid of them for sure as now people with older version of the colour or people with tundras in cavalry blue. I have several decades of automotive paint and detailing expertise and I do know what I’m talking about.
