Maybe I'm losing my mind, but it looks like my right rear tire sticks out from the truck a bit more than my left one...Any one else seen this on their truck or am I going insane?

    Yeah, you are

Ok, really -I bet your truck bed is just out of alignment. Easy warranty fix I had to have done too.

But to be actually sure, measure between the frame and each bed side. You could also measure that way to check the rear axle if you think Toyota really screwed up.

Your bed is out of alignment. Mine is the same. I think it's adjustable but I just got to the point where I don't notice it or care.

It’s a big deal when trying to put on a camper shell, otherwise you are probably right.

Your not hallucinating. There has been some discussion in this. Some have taken it in and they say it is a characteristic of the truck. Some trucks show more than others. I have only seen it mentioned a couple of times here on the forum. Good luck.

Go to dealer if warrantied, or get a big Torx bolt to fix it. But be warned- if it’s really bad like mine, my cab had to be realigned to and it took Toyota 3 days (they gave me a free rental) to fix it.

Does the poor alignment make the camper hit the cab or something? Mine's not that far off that it'd cause it to do that.

My shell was diagonal to the cab and stuck out on one side like an air scoop!

The dealer recommended taking the shell off first so Toyota corporate wouldn’t throw out the warranty coverage on the bed (they said they wanted to be extra careful as they knew the mgr who would be approving the work.)
