Delivery is scheduled later this week. I love all the extras on the higher trim levels but my budget does not allow me to splurge more than I am.

I am getting an SR5 with basic pretty much all the stock options.

I'm having some regrets and want to hear from you guys first before I panic lol.

    Thanks

I had the same thoughts waiting for my SR5 to arrive. I've had it 3 weeks now and haven't had any regrets. I love that truck. Spent a little more after I got it to upgrade it myself, but I find I'm not wishing I had much more considering the cost increase to get a TRD.

I've owned my SR5 since May. Would I like to have keyless ignition (push button start), heated seats, leather seats and all the things that go with a higher trim level like the Limited? Sure... but I don't want to spend $40k+ on a Tacoma.

If you're saying you can't afford to lease a better appointed trim package than SR5, why would you be asking about mods?

Stay off the internet before and after your purchase and you'll love your truck a lot more.

Are you getting a decent lease ? I have a ORDC 4x4 with the tech package, sunroof, nav and heated seats. My payment is $350.

Mine is leased, as well, but I can honestly see me keeping it at the present. I guess we'll see in 3 years. So far I've upgraded all the shocks with Bilstein 5100's (front set at 1.75"), Cooper ATP tires (P265/75R16), LED headlight and fog lights, and I've got Clazzio leather seat covers with the seat heaters coming this week. Oh, and also installed a TRD Pro grille.

Then you'll be fine. Besides...tires are the real difference in non-crazy offroading. Taco + good tires + common sense = success.

...^^^... Be very careful on a lease ... they can make you put it back to stock when you turn it in ... or bill you for it.

I hear you. I'm about done, so would be easy to put stuff back at this point if I decide to walk from it.
