I have a 2020 off-road AT with factory tires and I drive it pretty aggressively. I have removed the throttle limiter in first gear and added gear lock with VFtuner. Sometimes I turn the traction control off and spin the tires around corners. I have heard that wheel hopping is bad off-road and can blow your diff, can this happen on pavement because the tires go from have very low traction to full traction quickly? Also will my aggressive downshifts when passing or wanting to speed up hurt anything?

Yes it could happen. Not sure if a standard road tire would be capable of doing that. But there's always a chance. Depending on the grip capabilities of your tires

What do you mean by “not sure if a standard road tire would be capable of doing that” do you mean that could be too grippy or not grippy enough?

Losing traction and then gaining traction immediately tends to break things eventually

Common sense says that yes you are putting extra stress on your truck. Will your diff grenade? Probably not.

Standard road tire as a non performance/summer tire that our trucks come with. They seem to be alot more secetable to wheel spin. Couple that with no/little weight over the rear axle (assuming) and you have a recipe for limited traction

I'm not suspension expert. Just what I've learned throughout the years.

I always feel inconsequential when getting passed by an aggressively downshifting fellow Tacoma on the highway.

I *think* I know what you mean here, but would prefer you explain vs me guess. You may or may not have a problem with this. However, it's unlikely to create a differential problem

It is. So fix the suspension to stop the hop.

Define what that means. The how it's being done, and when. Again, you may or may not have a problem with this, and again, it's unlikely to create a differential problem.
