Maybe it would help to take a hour or so and just list out all the pros and cons of the situation. Sometimes seeing it written down will help clarify things. I make pro/con lists when I am in a conundrum over something. Plus add in the financial pitfalls and potential outcomes of the situation. You are truly never stuck but don't dig yourself into a deeper hole, if that makes sense.

Had e46 M3 for 12 years before my tacoma, was heavily involved in the “scene” and always loved to diy everything on it.
Didn’t really miss it, I think it’s because I bought Bmw before kids, 3 kids later the novelty of owning a stiff coupe wore off quick..

i traded in my 07 335i for my Tacoma and I miss it some days. That car was a beast and I should've paid it off then bought my truck. I think it's the modding thats addicting on both vehicles. I was about to upgrade the turbos but I realized it was just gonna make me want and need to upgrade the tranny, secondary fuel rail, methanol etc. With the truck I can get more useful mods out of it.

    Thanks for the responses everyone.

The BMW is paid off, so I only have the truck payment and motorcycle payment right now. I'm not rich, so I definitely don't want to dig deeper. I like the idea of writing a pros and cons list.

I never owned 335, but my brother in law did(2007).. within a year had to replace wastegate on turbo, 3 injectors and hpfp. Subsequently it was never the same, kept having a fuel leak and would go in limp mode after WOT. That first year 335 had issues, though I heard that lci/n55 were much better...
    either way money pits

Thankfully this is true. Know how utterly worthless a BMW is? Try loading 30 12' decking boards or 1500 lbs worth of block or traverse a foot of snow in BMW. Plus you have zero street cred when you show up to Lowes on Saturday morning in your soccer dad X5.

Everybody knows that no matter how much you're craving that big booty brunette once you tap it your brain goes right back to wanting the skinny blonde. When will we learn...

It does far less often than people think. It does give less miles to your truck though, and may be a comfier ride.

Source: am CPA that did the math.

You’ll get rid of the Taco and end up missing it. The cycle continues.

My personal struggle with the Tacoma comes from the practicality; truck does exactly what and want and expect, can generally modify to meet my needs. But, family is growing and now Its “should have kept/bought/looked at”.

    Such is life....

    It's complicated.
I dated a hot, skinny blonde... and it was fun tossing her around like a circus performer... and she was game.

When we parted ways, I realized that I needed the brunette with the big booty.

"I like big butts and I cannot lie..."

I recently sold my BMW 535i and it was one of the happiest days of my life since it had only a month or so left on the warranty. Did not want to own it out of warranty.

Have you ever tried to fit a 4x8 sheet of drywall into a BMW?

If you try, you'll punch another hole in your wall, and no possibility of fixing it.

leases truck because the monthly payment is less.... only to throw a bunch of $$$ parts at it.... and then decides the truck life might not be for him.

that is so awesome. god bless america.

since you don't mind pissing money away, drop it off at the dealer, take your bath and lease something else.
