    Intuitive?

Or more intimidating... like the flight engineer station on B-36.

In all seriousness the third gen was almost perfect with it's layout. Almost. The 4x4 selector needed to be tactically distinct from the climate controls, and the location of the rear power window could have been consistent from year to year.

But if you measured driving an unfamiliar vehicle for the very first time and how long it takes before you are fully confident in the controls, the 3rd Gen passes the benchmark of "fully confident before the completion of the first drive."

The 4th Gen is nice, and it's intuitive. But in my opinion, 2nd and 3rd Gen are tied for most intuitive layout.

I can't say whether it is more or less intimidating than the B-36 but i doubt ATC could talk me through landing the Antonov 225.An-225-Flight-Deck.jpg

It's kinda like sitting on the toilet. As you get older, one day you're sitting there and you think, I don't remember making that noise before...? And then it becomes routine.

Those are not essential controls to maintain safe operation.

OP - A lot of comments on here, but I see that no one answered your question. Yes, the turn signals do make a clicking sound when you turn the wheel.

The "click" is what resets the turn signal switch and turns it off automatically.
It's normal. Nothing to worry about.....:)
