Am I missing skirt on rear tailgate or just installing wrong?

I bought this ARE shell second or third hand and am having a time with the t-channel rear door seal. It somewhat fits but doesn’t stay. Could I be missing another piece, maybe a hard plastic “skirt” type piece? Thanks

 

That seal you have is not for that topper. That channel is for a seal between the door and what they call a contour strip. Get me a serial number off the ceiling of the topper (should start with an N) and I can get you a part number for the contour strip.

 

Thanks for the reply! I gave the serial to an ARE dealer and they sold me this but it didn’t seem correct

Should be around $100 give or take depending on your dealers markup.
