All great reply’s comparing a second gen to anything except another second gen in my eyes is pointless though, but thank you all for the data points! When running my question through AI it prompted me to the 650 spring, considering it crawls the Internet for every single data point in forum post, as well as it’s what suspension surplus recommend I’m going to start there. I can always purchase a pair of 700 pound springs down the road if need be for a few hundred dollars. I agree with the comment about load range E tires. I went from a load range EBF Goodrich MT to a Toyota open country MT load range C, in the difference was night and day

i've got a semi-hidden bumper with a warn winch and went with 650s on my 6112's (come with 600s). i feel 700s might be the better choice, 650s feel a little boaty

I’ll take boaty comfortable, this truck only sees 200 miles a year. I use it for hunting and fishing on the weekends, and mall crawling
