I just used Bare Bones for the first time this weekend. Works awesome...

Had to drive in the rain after detailing so there's a little dirt there now, btu this truck has 62K on it...

When I was a kid my dad had a friend that would coat the front of his car with Vaseline before a long trip in the summer so it would be easier to get bug guts off the car.

Yes of course I do! Really helps when going off-roading and allows the mud to come off easier. I even do the spare and axle cause you can see them from behind. :crapstorm:

I don't apply protectant to mine but I do wash the fenderwells with a separate bucket and rag every time I wash the truck-I actually had a MANAGER of a BODY SHOP flip me shit about my clean fenderwells:mad: I responded with how I figured he would be the one guy who would appreciate something like that.
Those wells are 10 years old now and still no buildup and no fade.

Chemical Guys Fade 2 Black along with Adam's Invisible Undercarraige Spray. I dare you to find a better set of products. You could ge by with just the fade 2 black but it is aersol and expensive. Use the Adam's stuff and cut it with 1:4 some h20. SPray that in the well and wipe roughly with a rag. Hit all the nooks with the Fade 2 black. Looks amazing.
