    LOL, I think the real problem is all of this electronic bullshit. This surge issue was a huge problem with 09 Subaru (my previous vehicle was an 09 Subaru WRX). While it was a manual (and thus surge didn't equal taking off like a rocket ship) when rolling to a stop it would frequently roll the tach up to around 3k rpm. Additionally, while I haven't had problems with my Tacoma's ABS (yet) there were two separate instances where I was almost killed in my Subaru because of ABS.
