I wanted an arb winch bumper but couldn't get over the part were would have to cut my fenders to fit it.

 

A custom bed rack with soft top canopy, swing up spare mount. This is prior to swapping out the oem spare rubber and fabbing a drop down lock, but that’s the gist.

 

Here is mine. I was curious how a white roof panel would look on the quicksand, so I bought a piece of gloss white and installed it myself (botch job, lol).

Don't like it or dislike it myself, but some people have commented that they don't approve.

I am undecided about removing it or getting a new one professionally installed.

It is my truck, so fu@k what anybody else thinks, correct? Lol.

 

You live in ADK? I live in WNY and go up there all the time (cabin on Schroon lake). Love to see a fellow taco owner up there. Maybe we could meet up and do some wheeling.

I owned an 08 fj in sandstorm. This color combo feels very familiar lol. Honestly, protecting the paint on the roof isn't a bad idea.

 

Yup, it is all 1pc.

 

How hot does it get in the summer? On my gti, the aluminum trim on the knob would get so hot you couldn't touch it.

 

Ooh yeah, it gets hot ... but it sinks out pretty quickly. Just pat it a few times until you can hold it, 30 seconds later it's good.

Cold takes longer, but gloves sure help.
