Nice, that thing doubles as a bed stiffener.

    It's getting there.
I like this, I may have to fab one similar myself. I'm not sure I like covering the cubbie though.

    I did this: Scene light

I like this idea of a bed stiffener.
Looks to be only using existing bed bolts and the bed rail.
I don't like the idea of drilling into the bed just for stiffeners.
You can also hide most of it under a bed mat.

Bed stiffeners aren’t that bad, just three small holes each side. I like it most for tie downs points

i have seen your pics and am a fan of the work for sure. and i have my own single version. question is:
can you compare the extractors' performance to stock accurately? did you install them after already have the Y pipe and open components downstream?

i am focused on helping and not hurting the bottom end. i rarely run it over 4k.

your clips sound a lot like mine, especially the idle, super clear pressure wave and ultra smooth combustion. these motors really seem to love open flow. so, last stop is the front cats. i guess comparing URD to OVT is about the expansion chamber. what do you think?

i really should try to make some sound clips.

Down pipes were installed before the rest of the system and haven't had the truck dynoed before and after, though I am curious, but it doesn't seem to hurt the performance of the truck below 4k RPMS as the truck has plenty of pep to it between 2k to 3k RPMS and easily holds low speeds 35 to 45 in 5th gear (1100-1500RPMS) and can pick up speed from those speeds in 5th gear no problem. And that's with 4 inches of lift, sliders(120lbs), and 32.7" diameter tires weighing at 50lbs each.

From what I've read from other poeple is that for a more deep throaty sound you want a larger diameter piping but not to much bigger or you can lose some of the low end torque and from I can tell from pictures of OVTs dump pipes they're designed the same just 1/4 inch larger in diameter so until we can get a direct comparison between the two OVT's dump pipes might be a bit more mellow sounding than URD's.

thanks for the feedback. do you have the OV Tune? it's the deal with open exhaust and I'm real interested in these if he can deal with the code.

just for kicks here's some crap pics of some of my exhaust. 2 Vibrants and a Spintech 3000XL. and a j tube all after the URD Y pipe. i had a pre axle dump but i changed it to a tail pipe for now.IMG_20181217_170611.jpg IMG_20181217_170430.jpg IMG_20181217_170447.jpg

That's a really clean and nice looking setup you have there. And I do have the tune and have been running it since v1.01b. I'm pretty sure OVTUNE has said before that he wouldn't delete out codes related to emissions though would need ask him directly to make sure.
