One thing I am most proud of is the fact that my daughter has the the work ethic of my wife and I. She does not feel entitled, and knows what it means to go the extra mile.

 

Sometimes it's a waste...watching youth being wasted on young people....

Y'all can barely keep up with us now when we're older and slower. We'd'a dragged your ass up one side and down the other on the hill of life had you met us 50 years ago....

I'm 51. I see lots of guys older than me driving tacomas around. Heck my dad is 81 and he drives a Tacoma.

 

45 with an MT and hoping to be driving this same truck when I'm 75.

 

My Dad is 82, and one of his buddies just traded in his Ford Ranger for a 2nd gen Tacoma - he is 92.
Never to late to get a Tacoma

I’m 33 and have 2 modded tacos, my dad is 62 and he’s modding his fj cruiser.

 

I'm 46 (about to turn 47). Interestingly my trajectory has been the opposite per Jeeps and Tacos: In my 20s to mid-30s I drove a Jeep (an old CJ-7 with significant upgrades for the trail). Now I am coming up on a year with my Taco. Feels natural to me.

I'd say we are too old for a Taco (or Jeep) the day after they put us in the ground.

 

I'm 43, bought my first tacoma and first ever truck last year.

Had to wait for toyota to make the access cab and my previous ride to expire. WTF does age have to do with driving a taco?, , or , take your pick.

These threads always kind of blow my mind. Not the fact that older guys are driving Tacomas, but that people older than 30 actually know how to use a forum, or even realize they exist. Probably stems from the fact that the old man can't seem to figure out a smartphone beyond the basics. We finally got him to add his own contacts, but learning how to forward an email is proving difficult...
