I'm just shy of 60. I own one because in my years on this earth my priorities have changed. Reliability and financial value are more important than fancy do-dads and extreme acceleration. I have zero intention of modifying my current truck or my next one to look cool but I enjoy seeing other's work of art. I don't have a real need to modifying a stock version. As I enter retirement I don't want to deal with vehicle problems as I travel the country, hike, fish, golf, and hunt. My next Tacoma will probably outlast me.

    40 here.

I see mostly white haired guys driving the plethora of Tacos out on the road, but they are generally unmodded. I would make a cap joke, but I have one of those too.

The day I bought mine I drove it over to my neighbors house (he's 70) to show it off and he stood there and looked at it and said that looks like some young kids truck. I'm late '50's and just laughed. My bro is 66 and he has an '07 DCLB and it's probably his 20th Taco. I recall his first was an blue sr5 in the mid-eighties and he has had one ever since.

    I’m sixty. 6-0.

Sounds so old if you say it. Thank goodness I don’t feel it...or act it.

Ha. Got two kids under 10 so I'm buying a Pro. No time for mods until they are older.

But yes, the time will come. Oh yes.

    funny you should ask ...

i remember one day i was out fishing and i heard this thing coming from this raggedy ass trail i heard the music coming as I'm fishing off a bridge I'm thinking friging kids blaring their loud music scaring all the fish way then i see the FJ cruiser coming this thing must of had a 4 inch lift on it , it was way off the ground so I'm thinking defiantly kids ...i was wrong this elderly couple stops on the bridge to ask how is fishing ...i can see now why the music was so loud this couple where probably well into there 70s once they drove off i just started laughing

but where I'm from i see a lot of tacoma's with older men driving them i kind of feel like I'm to young for my truck I'm 31

    OME and worth every penny.
    Blackbird, er, red Blackbird.

I imagine Jeeps being the new Harleys is why you see that age group out on the trails. There seems to be a jeep in the driveway of every suburban Grandfather either in place of or in addition to the Street Glide.

BTW, I'm 55 and I can still kick. laughs. If you remember that running gag on SNL, you're close too.
