    neglect, mostly.
every time i see or hear the words "am i wrong" i have to reply with big lebowski quote or video lol. . . but i actually did read your novel and i agree you did nothing wrong. i live in a very rural area, and keeping a clean truck has never really been a top priority per se. . .but start spraying shit i don't know about on my truck when i don't even know you? hell no. you reacted much more responsible that i and many others on here would have.

The guy did not stand a chance (not that I'm Mr Tough or anything) but legally I would end up losing, the old lady and the girls would all be against me, and I had no witness, only the cameras which without out sound people could interpret anyway they want.

You didn't nothing wrong. They should have asked if you wanted a demo before all that shit.

idk about you if someone told me to watch my back I would have lost it. I would have said my usually response to that, "I dont live life watching my back. Let's handle this now." worked for me in high school, some of the little homies would say watch your back and when you call then out they don't do shit.

You read my mind, next time I go I will probably try to get info on the owner or manager, usually there is a guy/girl at the register and no one else.

I do not remember the name of the product, next time I go I will probably try to find the name and info about. I would definitely like to talk to someone from the gas station and tell them about what happened.

The guy that threatened me did not looked like he had any authority there, so he can't ban me from there, it was all part of his attitude.

Next time I suggest getting your cell phone out and video record as much as you can. At most this will help if police were called, or if the product did cause irreparable damage and a things went to court. And at least it might make them realize to back off and not threaten you. You cant be too careful.

Man, cant people just leave you alone.

I really don't care much about the watch your back, this is a small town, I've been here my whole live and who ever the guy is a bet you someone I know probably knows who he is or know someone else who knows who he is.

The only thing that would piss me off, is that the guy finds the truck some where and does something to it. I had it happen before with my previous truck.

I have a can of the shit and thats the stuff. Its kind of a half assed bug and tar remover. I felt bad for the person selling and some extra change in my pocket so I bought it... never used it but once and it sucked for the intended use. I see these people everywhere now. They did the same thing demoing it before getting the OK and using a dirty rag. Of course I view my truck as a truck and dont give a shit about swirl marks and pinstripes. Id rather see em doing that then stealing from cars. Call me soft hearted. Didnt screw up my paint though.

I see those guys at a couple of gas stations around town, but have never been approached by one. Maybe you need to practice your 'don't fuck with me' look. :D

Puerto Rico....enough said....that shit wouldnt fly in the states. Most people i know, myself included, are very territorial, and do not want strangers even touching our cars. you showed tremendous restraint. sounded like a three person scam.
