    Ok.....long story short...

I've been seeing this girl for about 5 months since my divorce. REALLY serious about each other....I would settle down with this girl! We got along great....madly in love....blah blah blah.

Well.....I'm a guy. Kinda pissed her off a couple of times...nothing major...I just get a little selfish once in a while.

Well last argument was 3 weeks ago. She said she wanted a few days to think things over. I packed the few clothes I had at her place....and left.

We've talked a few times....she keeps saying her heads in the clouds....doesn't know what she wants....all kinds of stuff. She keeps saying don't wait on her. I keep saying BS....and I wait for her to come around or tell me piss off!

Well Sunday night she came to Carlsbad (she lives 30mins away where I work) with her cousin and asked me to dinner with them. I get my hopes up and go. Dinner goes good...we go back to my place for drinks and BS. Well I get up to go to take my shoes off in my room. She comes in there and I grab her and throw a lip lock on her that used to melt this girl.
And her and her cousin leave.

Well I call her cousin (also her best friend) and say HAY what the hell is up with her? She tells me she don't know....that all she knows is she's confused and that I shouldn't wait on her...I'm too nice of a guy to be miserable...and so on.

Well in the mean time...I text my GF and I say was it wrong to kiss you? She says no..but that she didn't feel anything like she used to....she still loves me and misses me but she don't know what's up!!!

Well I'm still texting back and forth to her cousin and her cousin says as hard as it is to move on I need to....never know who I'll meet.

So I say well.....you're recently single....and SMOKING HOT (6'0" 160 lbs...nice ass...big tits and a LOT of fun to hang out with) so would you like to go out some time?

She says SURE!!! I say I know you and her are cousins and best friends and I don't want to start no shit....but if she wants me not to wait....so be it. She says it's not a problem.

So we've been talkin off and on the last 24hrs. Making plans for a date etc.

Is this wrong for me? I mean I love my GF...but damn...she's put me through hell!!!!! And she keeps beating in my head not to wait for her. Her and her cousin both say she doesn't have anyone else....just her career and kids.

You're only wrong if you don't feel right about what you're doing. Choose the right head to think with if you are serious about the woman. Women seldom tell you what they really think or feel unless they are upset. If you're not serious about her, choose the wrong head and get on it!

    But...........who am I to say..........I've been married over 30 years!:ballchain:

Sold my truck Jan '13... Still hang around.
In my brief experience, when a girl says, "you shouldn't wait on me," she really means, "Move on." She's politely trying to tell you to piss off, and trying to make it so that you're the one who breaks it off with her. It's happened to me and a few of my friends, and not ONCE has waiting around paid off. Eventually she breaks down and breaks it off b/c she realizes that she can't trick you into doing it.

As for the cousin... In your situation there seem to be three possible outcomes.
    1) Move on completely - Wash your hands and walk away (End up single)
    2) Wait it out - and (IMO) she'll end up breaking up with you (End up single)
    3) Go out with the cousin - likely to end badly, but could be fun for a while (End up single)

I only say that going out w/ the cousin is likely to end badly b/c she's best friends w/ your GF and they're family. If she's forced to choose, and I bet your GF will make her choose at some point, she'll choose blood.

I bet that no matter what you do, you'll end up with somebody other than one of those two eventually, so go for the cousin and have fun while you can. Also... PICS or it didn't happen!

You're headed into a world of drama.

He nailed it right on the head.
Also, by her telling you not to "wait on her" means "I'm interested in someone else".

I believe GF is trying to tell you she isn't committed to being in a relationship with just you. Don't get bitter toward GF, just don't let her hold you back. Move toward someone that appreciates you and let GF keep her head in the clouds. My two cents worth.

    wow.. here's a girl's perspective..

i have 3 girlfriends that i consider best friends, as i've known them for at least 7 yrs, the longest being my best friend for going on 20 yrs! and in this time, we have NEVER and i repeat NEVER ended up dating, hooking up with, etc. any guy that the other was involved with, no matter how serious or "not serious" the situation was. even years after they had been broken up, i have never even considered going there. with that said, i think the fact that she agreed to go out with you is the worst part of this story. my best friends are like my family and the biggest thing for me is trust. i would never want any of my friends to feel like they couldn't trust me around their significant other. yeah, you could have fun with this chick, but i think she is a shady character and do you really want to surround yourself with someone like that? obviously her morals are a little misplaced and me personally, i dont like to be around ppl like that. its almost like its contagious when you're around sneaky ppl as they usually bring you down to their level. and KARMA IS A BITCH. you are definitely stirring the pot if you go there. hey, you're a big boy and can make your own decisions, just don't expect ANYONE to sit there and listen to your whining when shit hits the fan. because it will and nobody will feel sorry for you because you're doing it to yourself.

my advice, do unto others.. that should answer any questions you may come across in the future and will usually point you in the right direction. sure, everyone's allowed a mistake or two here and there, but this seems to be a malicious act, if you go thru with it.

sorry for the novel, but i really had to get that all off of my chest. best of luck to you, but i would suggest taking the high road in this case.

I'd say give it time. If you really were "madly in love" you've got to at least give yourself some time. I know I've jumped ship too quickly and although it doesn't always hurt the other person (sometimes it does) I have never looked back and thought I made a good decision.

Hmm... I feel like this could have been a thread from a 16 year old kid asking about a facebook girl.... Ken, man up, grab your sack, and do whatever you want. :D

Dude, you've barely been single... dip your wick a bunch before settling down again...
