    Goodness of my heart....I liked what Boogie was doing. Thought I would contribute some myself. I just do a basic search on Deals of the Day and post things that interest me, might interest others, and seem like decent deals. Not sure if this is helpful to others, or if this thread is getting the traffic that the old one got.

    You can normally tell by the way the link is. If Amazon is in the link, there's no affiliation. Affiliate links are something like amz.tz or something. Links like smile.amazon have a percentage go to charity I think. I could be making this up since I just woke up

    You're thinking of 'amzn.to' That's just a shortened link. If you look at the 'tag=' at the end/middle of the Amazon link, it'll tell you if it's an affiliate link or not.

    Example:
    A URL with "tag=xxxx0x2-20&linkId=33xx99461x009x5xxf9x8898x59xxx2x" is an affiliate link.
    A URL with "tag=amazonqueryr1-20" is not.

    Easiest way to clear up confusion would be for whoever posts the URL to clean it up by removing the attributes at the end of it.
    Take a link from the top of the page:
    This:
    Coleman FyreMajor 3-in-1 Propane Stove

    I think putting it on the “what have you done today...” will bump the traffic up. I had no idea a new one was started, also don’t typically check anything but the 3rd gen forum for new threads.
