Oh there will be some mods all right
Short answer, it's not. Lol. I tried the ice-cream sandwich and I've tasted worse things, but if I never had another one I'd be okay with that.

Anyone looking for a home generator, this is the absolute best deal out there. We have a couple small handheld ones and wanted something for backup to run the whole house.

This thing is a beast, 50A plug as well and less than 5% THD. Also, pull start if the battery goes dead. For $820 there's nothing that even comes close with this quality.

^THIS ONE and it’s $20 off right now. I have 3 of them and they’re amazing. Plus they have a 110V outlet as well. I’ve used it to power a fridge during a power outage, and to jump start my POS Taco that is currently broke down when jumper cables used with a 2014 F150 couldn’t get the job done.

I have a GB40. It's been great, no complaints. Haven't used it on anything larger than a 4.0l V6 but it didn't flinch at that.

When it comes to jump starter, you might be better off not cheaping out. I bought an Amazon value brand (Nexpow, IIRC) and it has let me down. Only good to hold the charge about 2 months and didn't have enough juice to start my truck (2nd gen 4.0L) the one time I needed it (was reading 75% and was charged less than 3 months prior).

If I could do it again, I'd save up for the NOCO.

Project Farm did a very intensive review and the Audew performed well, but several members here have had issues with them. I'm sure NOCO also has failures, but I'm not aware of any.
